update...issues...

I thought I would give ya an update....on my health....
I have been diagnosed with carpal tunnel in left hand  by doing the nerve conduction test....
I also have been diagnosed with arthritis in the right thumb joint...received a shot in that joint....tendonitis in both wrists...left worse then the right..given a brace to wear plus an inflammatory medicine....
took that med once and had an reaction......after 30 minutes after taken the med left side of head felt funny, ( weird , cant explain it) and was nauseated as well, so checked BP and of course it was up 169/99...….I had chest pain, tightness in chest....So off to the ER I went...They did labs, EKG,....I was exhausted, ( like I had been up forever)….
I was told labs were ok...but suggested I have a stress test...EKG showed possible an infarct( got the results 2 weeks later, fyi)...I did my ER follow-up...with primary doctor and I guess my calcium level was up...so off the multivitamin..recheck calcium lab at the first of the month...
So I got the ER -EKG results and I thought maybe we need to recheck to make sure I didn't have a heart attack.....messaged my primary about it...she messaged back that she ordered an EKG....but to find out that she didn't...so she messaged back to contact a cardiologist....do I need a referral ?....
So I contacted my cardiologist( I had seen one before)...she looked over my EKG and stated that if I wasn't having symptoms ..I should be fine...so life went on..( I didn't need to be seen)
Calcium labs were found to be high normal.....so life went on.....I did have a couple mornings I woke up with chest hurting, but I think it was indigestion.....so life BP was very high, still having chest pain.....so off to the ER I went...got there...X-ray was done, then EKG was done and finally got labs done...Then back in waiting room..( they wasn't very busy, at least they didn't seem that busy)
finally got taken back to room...then more labs were done...iv started, then wait....another lab was done....meds were given...one of the labs was the Troponin T lab in which in the second lab drawn was alittle elevated.....finally doctor came in when I was being discharged, and he did mention Small vessel disease of the heart...and sent sent me on my way..and the doctor had emailed the my cardiologist...and stated I should hear from her this weekend...and stated that its in my doctor's court on what she wants to do...
I didn't hear from her at all, had to call her the following Monday...….Of course, the next day ,I was exhausted and I googled the small vessel disease of the heart.....And things I found was somewhat how I felt...and leaves me to questions...I would like to know...Since I already have small vessel disease of the brain...is this the reason why I have this disease in my heart...( I will be asking my doctor this week, when I see her....of course I keep googling because I want find out how I can ( my own health advocate)…( in which   as long as I can I will be)...so then I find out something ….
and now I have questions....If I was a man would I have been kept overnight so they can run more tests on both ER visit?...If I was a man would my symptoms been taken  more seriously?...
Was it my insurance why I wasn't kept ,at least overnight?...
I think I wasn't kept due to me being a woman...( by the way I haven't seen the results of the last EKG).
Well that's it for now...God bless
